Real sailors don't complain about other people not observing "No Wake"
zones, because real sailors are out at sea instead of sitting in marinas.

Oh, aren't WE clever! Not! Real sailors don't sail every waking hour of
every waking day of every waking year of their lives. Duh! Don't you have a
shirt or something to iron?

There are "real sailors," and then there are "Real Sailors." "Real Sailors"
don't iron shirts.

I dunno 'bout that, KC.

My wife would iron my uniform shorts for daily use.
But for inspections I had to do them myself.
She couldn't do military creases and get them straight.

:)

When I was in the USAF the commercial laundry would put the crease in
a different place each time and when my pants all had four or five
white lines I retired them and starting doing the new ones myself. We
called Summer Creases some are here, some are there. Life has always
sucked in the military for the lowest ranks. Nobody said anything
about the creases, they knew about the ****ty laundry.

Did you ever hear the advice about dressing for the job you want - not
the one you have?

Yeah, but I couldn't get over the idea that putting Admirals shoulder boards
on my Crackerjacks was going to get my skinny little butt kicked.

I did do it myself to have it right, although all the single guys had
multiple creases. Married, the wife did them. The job I wanted was war
victory celebrating civilian.
