Default Skin Boat Proa

Hi folks:
I've been thinking about building a skin kayak, perhaps a smaller one about
10 or 12 feet long. Then, after seeing a guy paddle by me in a small
outrigger while I was anchored off Long Beach, I thought about combining the
two technologies. The result would be a small skin kayak with an ama.

Anyone have any experience with this hybrid? Pointing me in the right
direction would be appreciated.

Within the last year I saw an outrigger canoe online that was SOF. All I
