You really need to read and understand the entire requirement.

My question: Is locating the fill in an area where it gets walked on
a fuel safety hazard? Are there any issues I need be concered with
by putting this deck fill in an open deck area?

Appreciate any advice.

Thanks Dan,

I had read the USCG regs you included on my earlier post, but I missed
the section on locating the fuel fill. This pretty much answers my
question.
