Default leaky aluminum lund

Hey gang,
Does anyone have some pointers on tracking down a leak in a Lund 16
foot pike special? Its leaking a little more than what I think a
bilge pump would fix. I've done some initial work and would like to
see what other people would suggest. I've filled the boat with water
twice and tracked down a few trouble spots. There is a double riveted
seem at the waterline that leaked in a foot long spot. I bought the
boat used and it had been caulked there before. I reapplied new
sealant (marean stuff) all the way down both seams. When I took the
boat out again, it still took on the same amount of water. The other
trouble spot I found was at the livewell pump. When I filled the boat
with water it leaked out the pump inlet and bubbles came out the pump
casing. I'm hoping that the majority of the leak is coming from
running the livewell pump, and plan on replacing it.

Does anyone have any suggestions, and has anyone dealt with a leaky
livewell pump before?

Thanks

Filling a boat with water isn't a real good idea they're not made for
that much weight. Running a bead of sealant along the edge of a seam
rarely helps. Usually you need to tighten the rivets or drill them out
and rebed the seam then rerivet. My pike special didn't come with a
live well so I can't offer any suggestions there.
