Is their any directions, book, or writings that will tell me how to do this? ==================================== If the hull has a wood core at the point where the hole will be, you need to take special precautions to seal the wood with epoxy. If solid fiberglass, just use a hole saw, an appropriately sized drill motor, and have at it. Bed the fitting with a good polysulfide bedding compound, assemble loosely for a few days, retighten, and trim off the squeeze out. If this is for a holding tank pumpout, give some thought to the esthetics (not to mention the environment). |
