Default Carter carb

Mechanical or vacuum secondaries? You just need to match the cubic feet per
minute (CFM) to put a new carb on. You'd be better off finding out what
intake manifold that you've got, then match to that. You should be able to
reference your motor's cubic inches against various manufacturer's
carburetors to find out the range of choices that will work, and you can
measure the inside diameter of the venturies so you can compare to the
replacement carbs ...similar venturies will demonstrate similar CFM. But if
it were me, I'd find out what kind of intake that I had, then I'd find a
carb that I like for the rpms and cubic inches of the motor, then I'd buy or
make an adapter plate to make the new carbs work on the old intake.

Sticking with Carters are fine. I like Rochesters too. I don't like
Holley, and I haven't tried others.

Hi all

my boat has a pair of Carter 9772S carbs.
any idea of where to get a rebuild kit or a Edelbrock cross referance
for a new carb?

Thanks
