One of the most reputable is the OED.

You will find the meaning you are looking for in this dictionary,
certainly, for "most"

One usually ignores what one doesn't care about.

The "many a group" I "infected" with my "trolling" amount to three.

I was addressing, in general, a tendency of some posters to avoid intellectual
debate and turn all discourse into personal attacks.

thread, I meant only to comment on my perspective on dealing with trolls and
people who are obnoxious in general.
