That is the best but an argument could be made for the aluminum bronze
277. It is cheaper and those totally opposed to stainless in sal****er
like them better. Also General Pump WM series is a line of stainless
1500 psi .5 to 4.5 gpm pumps that is used by a couple of makers.
Considerably cheaper than the Cat but the Cat 271 is still the ideal
pump for 400 to 800 GPD systems.

So - where to buy new 271 or 277 pumps - cheapest price?

Who or where is EDI Distribution?

The EDI price for a 277 Ni Al Bronze was $723.

But don't count on finding any miraculous deals on a stainless Cat pump
The 271 list for over $1,800 and the best price I found was about
$1,200. I spent 2 years stalking eBay and finally sniped a new one for
$400. (gloat, gloat) :-)
