Hi,
I need to re-caulk all the windows on Far Cove (1983 Catalina 36). The windows are glass, surrounded by aluminum frame. How do I do this? Is it relatively easy? Lloyd |

Lloyd Lloyd, if it were me, and I was simply re-caulking, as opposed to glazing, then I'd get a decent silicone caulk, simply caulk with a gun, then to remove the excess, a wet finger. It tools the caulk in nicely, filling any voids and making it nice and smooth. simply wet your finger in soapy water, smooth the caulk, clean finger, repeat. |

Silicone makes good gaskets but is a lousy caulk.
