Hi All
I want to make a couple of seat boxes from Aluminium to replace the existing pedestal seats. The idea is to house the batteries in one and use the other for extra storage. I will then mount the seats onto one end and hey presto "less wasted space". My problem is however how thick is strong enough for the Aluminium plate. I was hoping to get away with 5 mm plate? The boxes will be approximately 410 mm high x 360 mm wide x 650 mm long and have cuts outs on one side 400mm x 300 mm to allow access as required. What have you seen or built. All feedback will be appreciated Regards & thanks Bruce |
