Please have a look at the hole in this fibreglass boat.
http://www.blueskymarketing.co.uk/boat.htm professional repairers in UK ( scotland /Glasgow) have proved too expensive ( £800 ), its an old boat and needs a lot of other attention Any thoughts on wether a general DIY guy like myself should handle a job like this ? Thoughts are a thin layer of fibreglass sheet on base of boat , then insert fibreglass mesh into hole , then resin , then another layer of fibreglass sheet on top in boat , the plan would be to leave the thin sheets in place Is this the best way to go about it , any thoughts advice welcomed. Further any thought on what this boat make/model is or pictures of how it was kitted out originally would be appreciated -- Cheers Paul [Bluesky Marketing] ...............................................
