I believe there are two type of Liquid Nails, one of which is rated
for exterior use. It's tough stuff once it sets up however I've never
used it on a boat.

There are quite a number of different concoctions. some for interior
use, some for exterior, some for sheet rock, etc. Worse then Sika :-)
