Thanks, the parallels are downright frightening. I've been telling these
lubbers here for years to make sure they have a well-provisioned, stout,
blue water vessel readily at hand and that they should locate themselves in
a coastal area outside of any closable assets so they can flee immediately
at the very first hint martial law will be enforced. It's coming and make no
mistake about it. It's just a matter of time.

Earlier, mostly thanks to Ronald Reagan, I thought I'd be able to live out
my "golden" years in relative peace, quiet, security and prosperity. Now,
with the election of the far-leftist Obama and an equally leftist congress
all supported by the gimme-gimme socialist types, it appears that my
lifelong obsession with physical fitness may well pay off as, instead of a
nice comfy retirement in a land of freedom with excellent health care
available, it looks to me like I might well have to flee Marxism and cope
with things in unfamiliar seas and undeveloped lands that would kill your
average, feeble senior citizen. But, I am ready, willing and able when the
need arises.

Any and all like-minded citizens should arm yourself and have a plan. Don't
assume freedom is a right. It is not. It is something that has to be fought
for. Think what might happen to you should martial law be invoked and entire
cities are closed to traffic in or out "for security reasons" and in the
meantime you starve or die from lack of basic services.

Let the swine who voted for the sties sleep in them and then be dragged out
to the slaughter. They deserve nothing better. They haven't learned any
history at all. Too ignorant and selfish, the lot of them.

My Dear Wilbur:

typcially I agree completly most times with your recreational maritime
words. However you are completly misguided with your political
beliefs.
I voted for Obama. I too hold most the lubbers found here in contempt.
Obama will be greatly more sucessfull running this county compared to
Bush or McCaine.

And how would describe our current situation brought on durring 8
years of Republican leadership?

The chickens have come home to roost my maritime friend. We HAVE ran
this county into the ground.
By blaming the Dems for all our problmes says the Bush adminstration
is completly feable and the Democratic party is completly and
overwhelmingly poweful.
If that is the case I say throw the wimp girly president out and get
someone in there who knows how to get the job done.

Sorry, Bob, but everybody who isn't a Kool Aid drinking, Democrat sychophant
knows the current downturn in the economy was brought about almost entirely
by the Democrat congress. It all started with Freddy and Fannie which were
run by Democrats and beholding to Democrats. It was Democrat congresses who
passed laws forcing banks to give mortgages to people who had no downpayment
and even less chance of being able to pay the damned things back. Then
Freddy and Fannie bought and packaged these bad loans and resold them up the
line and eventually into the hedge funds. Untenable packaged into increasing
untenable.

Sorry, but the whole house of cards came tumbling down not because of
anything the President or Republicans did. As a matter of fact, it was
President Bush and Republicans who foresaw this dire situation we find
ourselves in today and tried to pass legislation to fix it (sponsored by
John McCaine). Sadly but not unexpectedly, the Democrats wouldn't even let
the leglislation out of committee. Try not to forget that it is Congress and
not the President that passes legislation. All the President can do is sign
off on it or veto it. In this case it wasn't the President but the Democrat
congress that is to blame.

Another very large factor in the worsening economy is the extremely costly
energy prices the world over this past two years. This also can be mostly
blamed on Democrats who are beholded to the environmental cultists because
Democrats shut down drilling and exploration for the most part. They also
shut down new coal fired plants and new nuclear plants. They also held up
any new refineries. In other words exhorbitant energy prices can be blamed
squarely on Democrat stupidity.

WAKE UP! How can you be so blind?

\
\ The [Democrat policy]chickens have come home to roost my maritime friend.

Yes, indeed, the Democrats sure did. They don't believe in free enterprise.
They don't like capitalism. They don't like free trade. They love tax and
spend. They love unions. They love entitlements. Under Obama they will nail
the lid on the coffine that once was the thriving economy of this once great
country. BELIEVE IT! As somebody who voted for Obama you got just what you
deserve. You're going to be getting Jimmy Carter squared.

\ By blaming the Dems for all our problmes says the Bush adminstration
\ is completly feable and the Democratic party is completly and
\ overwhelmingly poweful.

Not all-powerful but the things the Democrat party believe in and the
legislation they pass is destructive to the economy. They are socialists,
pure and simple, and socialism has never seen one single solitary case that
actually worked. Socialism has always failed. It is a totally unworkable
system. Sad that you voted for it.
