It scares you that he would allow his family to be interviewed "The comments came five days after the Illinois senator allowed Access Hollywood reporter Maria Menounos a sit-down interview with his entire family, including daughters Malia, 10, and Sasha 7. The television show, which aired the interview Tuesday, billed it as the first interview with the whole Obama family. The interview remained decidedly light — Malia commented on seeing her mother in People Magazine while Sasha discussed her father's aversion to sweets — but it was highly played across several news programs, including many on CNN." The columnist said he regrets, no quotes, The columnist says he didn't think it was healthy for his two daughters to be so exposed, no quotes. I'm stating, not implying, that you are putting words in his mouth. OzOne of the three twins I welcome you to Crackerbox Palace. |

I'm stating, not implying, that you are putting words in his mouth. What does Obama regret? I don't know..."regret" was the columnists word NOT Obamas. I suggest you read both what I wrote and the article you quote His decision to let his daughters be interviewed? Or the fact they were interviewed? "Yesterday, I gave my young child a loaded handgun. He accidentally shot himself in the head. I regret he shot himself in the head." You really do need a lesson in English and comprehension. Even the reporters are smart enought to NOT attribute by quoting those things that were NOT said by their interviewee. I suggest you refrain from putting words into peoples mouths...I would also like to suggest that you spend as much time analysing McCain's life as you have Obamas. You're wrong. http://blogs.suntimes.com/sweet/2008..._access_h.html CBS' Russ Mitchell, asking if the girls will be seen more, was told no by Obama on Wednesday. "We had a unique situation in Montana where it was Malia's birthday, and all of us, I think, got caught up in the festivities. And so they had a chance to be their adorable selves on TV, but generall y we've been very protective of them. And, you know, in retrospect, I think if you'd asked me, we probably wouldn't have done it then, and we wouldn't do it again. While the Obama daughters have been on occasion campaigning with their folks for a year-they spent July 4, 2007 in Iowa-their parents have never put them in front of a microphone. NBC's Matt Lauer wondered if the Obamas made the right call in giving up some of their private life for the sake of exposure on the show. "You know, I think that we got carried away in the moment. We were having a birthday party and everybody was laughing, and suddenly this thing cropped up. And I didn't catch it quickly enough. And I was surprised by the attention it received as well." Would he do it over again? " We wouldn't do it again, and we won't be doing it again." You really do need a lesson in English and comprehension. Even the reporters are smart enought to NOT attribute by quoting those things that were NOT said by their interviewee. Sure thing! |

BTW, If you keep snipping out the parts where you do put words in his mouth...eventually you may confuse enough people into believing you didn't. I have better fish to fry. I suggest you read both what I wrote and the article you quote http://news.indiainfo.com/2008/07/10...ma-family.html Asked if he regretted the interview, Obama said: "Michelle and I, particularly given the way it sort of went around the cable stations. I don t think it s healthy and it s something that we ll be avoiding in the future." There he says that both he and his wife regret the interview - in quotes, in English and easy to comprehend.. I suggest you refrain from putting words into peoples mouths What words did I put in his mouth? The detective asks, "Did you murder the old man?" The suspect replies, "Yes". So if I said the suspect said he murdered the old man, by your reasoning, I would be wrong. According to you, the suspect only said "yes". |
