In those days a sea voyage was recommended for most anything a doctor
couldn't treat. wrote in message ... I have read that Richard H. Dana, author of "Two Years Before the Mast," was stircken with measles which negatively affected his vision. Doctors suggesed a sea voyage might improve his vision. Do any of you have an idea as to HOW such a voyage might improve vision? Thanks to anyone who helps. |
