You're not making me jealous.
And yet you respond!? I only buy modern stuff with command control and digital sound. So you're a fruity homo? That makes sense. By the way those old trains in your old man's attic are dropping in value every day. BWAAHAHAHAHHAHAHA! Oh, please tell the group what Lionel "display trains which are worth a fortune" are. I've never heard of that catagory. More bull**** from Boob****. So, Sloco the homo train boy doesn't even know about train sets!!!! Well, I'll teach him a few things. Even as lionel started making trains, they also did window displays. In fact, it's said that the 1st train was for a window display. They continued to do this even as they made more convention electric train sets, usually as one-offs for large "famous" store displays. Few survive. My father owns two, one from Macy's and the other from Alexanders. They are worth a lot of money at auction. The Macy's model is, complete with a custom track and cars made for the store. One of the five cars is actually a boxcar redone as Santa's workshop. My father originally had three of these, but he sold one to see what it would go for. 5500.00. That seems like a lot for a toy train, though some have sold for more. We're told that the Alexanders train is far more valuable because of it's size. Like I said, I eclipse poor Sloco at every turn! He's truly the born loser and his boat is UGLY!!! RB 35s5 NY |
