Default Even worse day for Sloco!

So is the drivetrain more beefed up in the Forester turbo to handle
the
extra torque generated by the turbo?

Don't think so.

Same system from the WRX. Pretty tough.

Your warranty is void if you mod the car!

That depends on the mods.

Not a ZO6--not even close. I'm betting you've never

driven one. If you
had, you'd still be smiling and sweating profusely.

Scary fast and quick,
like a 1300cc sport bike.

Max

Max, a 100% stock Forester XT does 0-60 in 5.2 seconds and

it takes
very little to get into the mid 4's. It's also AWD so the

hook up is
pretty amazing. The Z06 can actually get under 4 seconds,

so it's
pretty fast indeed. I would never buy a Vette because they

still
aren't put together as well as a Kia Reo. Still, 190 MPH

is pretty
amazing for any car and the Vette can do it...a whole lot

faster than
even my 167 MPH top end Speed6. But in every day driving

where it
sometimes snows, rains or the road is not track-smooth,

the Vette has
drawbacks indeed.

It's even worse than that Scotty.

But they will never understand.

It's best to simply watch.

And whenever you can, urge them to buy even bigger and better.

It's a void that can never be filled.

A black hole of emptiness.

To be filled with even emptier, lost souls.

Forced to show all, they soon become all show-
The means to Nature's end ends meaningless!"

Say what??? Are you saying that a Porsche GT3 or Turbo is slower and
less-quick than an Evo. How about a Dodge Viper, Saleen S7, or
Corvette
ZO6? I think even a BMW M3 (07) or an M5 (06) will dust your Evo or
WRX.

Max, while there are some seriously fast supercars, the Japanese have
matched them with cars like the STI and Evo, two cars that pull true
super-car numbers.

Dream on, Bubbles. They are fast, but nowhere near supercar figures.

An M5 won't dust an EVO.

It would be interesting to see. The BMW factory got around 4 sec. 0-60s and
sub 12s in the quarter with one. No stock Evo will do that.

Still worse for a car like
the M5, cheap mods bring cars like the STI and Evo into a world of
speed that the M5 usually never sees.

The M5 doesn't need it, with over 500 bhp to begin with, not to mention
better engineering and construction quality than a Mitsu or Subu can ever
dream of.

A stock EVO can pull 4.3 seconds
in 0-60 and do the quarter in 13 or less.

See above. M5 already tops that. With mods, albeit expensive ones, the car
will produce over 600 bhp.

Handling is true rally ready
level. The M5 is beautiful, the quality an experience all it's own.
But for shear driving enthusiasts you don't need an M5 any more. In
fact, when Nissan landed with the revised 300ZX twin turbo, it was
over then. Or for another good example, my Speed6 does just about
everything better than an Audi S4.

Except maintain its resale value. g

BTW, I tried to do a Lotus Elise, but I'm too tall. I consider it the
most amazing super-car built today for the money.

It's not a supercar at all. But it is probably the best handling car you
can buy for under $100K. The Exige I have on order is a sport
version--read: lighter and suspended more for the track. It will probably
see as much track mileage as road time. I don't have time for an SCCA
campaign, but I can do the occasional track day.

Dave and Max have beaten the living daylights out of RB.

Max has a much faster racing boat that he will actually race!

Max has a real sports car that he will actually race!

Bobsprit is left with an older tricked out semi cruiser that he will never
race.

Bobsprit is left with an inexpensive consumer car that he can pretend to
race (as long as nobody is watching).

Max has clubbed him royally. Boobers has lost any bragging rights, he is so
outclassed.

Now Dave has repeatedly beaten him over the head with a stanchion pipe.
Those questions about RB directing and stealing credits sure shut him up.
Dave's questions about city living hammered it home.

RB has little left to troll with. He is outclassed and outgunned.

Then his jokes about lakefront property! Why would the buyer contact his
lawyer? Is it such a mega deal the lawyer has to list it? Is the lawyer
listed as the owner? I can smell the fish from the lake all the way out
here! Boobers is so inexperienced in real estate he has no clue, he can't
even make up a believable lie!

Watch him leave a huge brown streak in a few weeks when I finally get around
to posting some sailing pictures. It will make him jump up and hit his head
on his 7 foot ceiling in his subterranean home theatre (that's another way
of saying basement).

Moo-ha-ha!
