gut feeling or a biased belief founded more on peer pressure, familial
history, or the 30 minute nightly news interspersed with commercials for
Burger King...I do not believe the average American is an informed

voting booth uninformed or unable to dicipher facts, figures, and
opinions...

Ah, the majority. You must have a consensus on that position.

We, as a population, are over-polled. Polls are conducted for anything
these days. We poll the people to see how often they have sex, what brand

being polled. The proof of that is how radically and quickly polls of
identical issues can change virtually overnight.

I, on the other had, believe people are basically honest w/r/t most
things, including polls, but I'm a liberal.

This country was founded and has prospered because of non-natives. I
guess being a legal alien since he was five doesn't count for much in
your book. Perhaps he should have been deported.

Whoa?
What is it that puts a non citizen in a position where he is unable to
defend himself when you claim that right?

The US Constitution. It applies to citizens, not aliens.

Wrong. It applies to anyone under jurisdiction here.

Keep at it. Maybe you should claim Hillary did it.

Why would I blame Hillary?
The only one to blame is the Seung-hui Cho. Thats something you
liberal seems to not understand, people are responsible for their own
actions.

Nope. Hillary is to blame. She a liberal QED she did it.

And, they have easy access to guns, especially handguns. If you remove
that easy access, then they might have a chance to get help before 33
people die needlessly. Why don't you tell us it's "in the
Constitution" again if it makes you feel better.

Easy access to handguns is an American fact of life--now and forever. Do

People thought the same thing about slavery...

Not deported but the question rises as to why, at the age of 23, he had
not declred citzenship or the intent of taking citizenship. Most
resident aliens can't wait for their 7 years to be up so they can become
a citizen. If you have no intention of becoming a citizen, then why have
permanent resident status unless you're a representative of a foreign
country? I am not speaking here about visas for people who come here
with a specific purpose for a specific time. They come and they go and
that's all right. I don't care if non-citizens go to our colleges and
universities as long as they take what they learned back to improve
their own nations. I do take issue with people that come here to drink
from our well and then spit in it when they're finished.

Read the Constitution, Jon. The Second Amendment applies to citizens. Is
that really so difficult to grasp?
