I'm purchasing a good knife and marline spike already but a pair of pliers and a a few other small tools would be very helpful as well. The knife comes first though. Get a tool box, and a box of wooden toothpicks, tweezers in the medical kit, ect. Problem with swiss army knife type tools are they are usually to small and weak to do any real job. I've had several stainless multi tools, spike, pliers, screw driver, ect and ended up tossing them all, usually after destroying them , or what I was working on. Joe |
