Default Sail trim from the pilothouse

I may be forced into renting a pilothouse sailboat for our next
excursion (please don't ask why). I spend a good deal of time
observing and adjusting the sail trim in my boat which is without a
pilothouse. Any tips on ways to figure out the trim from the
pilothouse?
