Im really new to this but isnt 8' seas really really BIG for a 46' SAILBOAT ? ? The writer says somehow when she was on watch the boat got blown off course. And she was looking at an electronic charter that she did not know how to read. How anyone can cruise offshore and not chart a course on a paper chart is beyond me. All they needed was a 50 dollar GPS and knowledge of how to use it to keep out of trouble IMO. Joe |
