It's legal to drink and drive in the NWT, not legal to be intoxicated
and driving, but open booze is ok. I think Colorado and Wyoming are the
same.

Most states have so-called 'open container' laws, which imply that an open
bottle of booze or beer constitutes driving while under the influence, even
if the container belongs to a passenger. No blood test necessary--the
'evidence' is sufficient to convict. Nazism.
