Thank you for your attention to this issue.

The original complaint was about the posting "terror free gas
stations" in the newsgroup "alt.sailing.asa" which was established
"as a forum for the exchange of ideas by people who share an
interest in the sport and lifestyle of sailing.". Full charter in
http://www.faqs.org/faqs/sports/sailing/asa/.

The complainant feels that the posting "has the effect of disrupting
the alt.sailing.asa Usenet newsgroup."

Dear Sir or Madam:

http://www.american-sailing.com/alt.....asa./FAQ.html

Can you tell me if you still host the above document?

The link provided at
http://www.faqs.org/faqs/sports/sailing/asa/
is no longer functional.

I am having a problem with my ISP after a complaint was made by an
anonymous poster to this newsgroup.

I have never had a complaint filed about me before in the context of
usenet, and I am concerned about my IPS's response to this
apparently spurious complaint.

I am apparently in danger of loosing my service merely as a result
of 11 inadvertent cross-posts when responding a couple threads
started by some friends of mine. There was no promotion or abusive
behavior involved in any of these posts.

As far as I can understand my ISP's concerns, I am being victimized
expressly and solely for a small number of inadvertent innocuous
cross posts to an alt usenet group. Is this possible or even legal?
