traditional values, yet wants to be nannied; who wants to take all the benefits of a high level of social organization yet pay for none of it; who wants to suppress other citizen's rights yet claims he is promoting freedom & liberty? Personally, I'm thinking: "fascist troglodyte"... but many consider that an insult (no matter how technically accurate it is). "Walt" wrote "Republican". HTH. HAND. Capt. Except for an accident of geography & history, I'd probably be registered as a Republican myself, most of my family considers themselves "hereditary' Republicans. BTW what does HTH. HAND. mean? DSK |

Well, once the KKK'ers and the witch-burners realize how badly they've been fooled, they will go back to fielding their own candidates (or smoldering in the closet) and the Republican Party will return to more mainstream politavics. Unfortunately, the last few campaigns seem to have shown that the one who flings the most mud, wins... the Democrats seem willing to play this game but aren't very good at it, even when abetted by the comical misbehavior of a lot of high-profile Republicans. I hope the next few election cycles show that Agrown-ups can win elections in this country, or else we are in for troubles that will make the past 5 years look like a footnote in history. BTW what does HTH. HAND. mean? HTH is a TLA that means "Happy to Help". HAND is an FLA that means "Have a nice day". HTH. HAND. Got it. Thanks. FB- DSK |
