I've sailed with Bart. He and I don't always agree, but I'd say he has the experience to justifiably take on a knowing air from time to time. Fair enough. Sometimes know-it-alls *do* know it all. It's not the way to bet, but it happens occasionally. If the crew knew their stuff, don't you think they'd recognise the same in Bart?
