Sounds like you live in the land of Catalina over there. Catalinas, Beneteaus, and Hunters. We have some nice boats, but they are rare enough that when a new Moody or Hinckley sails into our area, they attract sailors like flies to rotting meat. The previous owner of our boat socked over $40K into her just before we bought her. She attracts a lot of attention, so much so that we have constant lurkers whenever we cruise to other ports. It can become annoying, despite the compliments. Max |
