Seriously, Joe...what happened? No led in your pensil? Or no cream in
her middle?

It's really sad that you have no family. I think I can see where all
the anger is coming from.

Nope, Joe, I can't. Sorry...I like sailing.

So do I. And it's a good sign that you get so emotionally involved at
the little things... it's all magical when you are just starting out.
I felt the same way when I saw swells in the pacific ocean that were 20
ft tall and 1/2 a mile apart, same way the fist time I looked at the
bottom of Deigo Garcias harbor thru 85 ft of water. First time I surfed
a 120 ton boat on 30 ft seas and had a floater drop me 5 storie like a
pillow at an est 40kt's, felt that way when my crew attached my tow
line to Bullwinkle, sailed an empty 220 ft barge down the ICW, saw the
green flash, became the youngest 1600 USCG licenced Master in history
(still hold that title BTW) and I could go on for weeks.

The only thing I HATED about being a MM Master is always being told
were to go and when to go.

So now I will choose when and where.
I will sail on my time table... and do not give a flip flying **** what
anyone else thinks is a proper schedule and destination for me and my
vessel. I do not need the magic of 3kt of wind and drizzle in my
face....I hope you can understand, if not I can go on for Mo's showing
you the places I have sailed and you will, IMO never see.

Joe

...if not I can go on for months showing you the places I have sailed...

Wow Joe... heck of a summation of your maritime involvements and a bit
of your personal life. And thanks for sharing the photos...

You obviously have done the "walk" therefore are qualified to do the
"talk"...

You remind me of some of the guys (Masters & Chief Engineers much
less other crewmembers) that I use to sail with and got to know
personally... while hanging out on some foreign flagged commercial
ships.

Yours was a good post...

Bill
