No, not really if one believes that all human life is not equal. Why then is
it ok to want Hitler to die? Why the death penalty? Why self defense?

I think it is natural for people to wish someone would die. The revealing
part is their reasoning for it. I remember back in the 70's and 80's praying
very hard for God to kill every Communist on earth. On that point I think
God let me down, but he did make Ronald Reagan the President and sure
enough, mega Commie ass was whipped!

Today, rather than pray for someone's death, I pray extra hard for God to
resurrect Barry Goldwater from the grave and make him President. Even though
Barry said that anyone who mixed religion and politics should go to hell, I
think God understood what Barry really meant.

Who do you wish for God to pull out of the ground and bring back to life? He
can do that you know.
