I never did watch much TV but I do remember a couple
episodes of the old Westerns.... used to be just about all
that was on.

Not with a model 1894 Winchester, probably chambered for .44-40 black
powder, which wouldn't still be in the air at 600 meters unless he aimed the
gun 20 degrees above the horizon.

600 meters unless he aimed the gun 20 degrees above the
horizon.


He just squinted his jaw and pointed his eyes and squoze off
a shot. T'cha... everyone knows that.

Heck, his kid could pick off a bad-guy at 200 yards with a
spit wad.

Thats because Lucas McCain did not know what a meter was, he could shot
200 yards and hit a colt pistol every time, but none of the furriner
stuff.
