Save up a bit more, I meet the sabre( pronounced in your best Kennedy
voice "Say Burrrr" ) people today putting the rigging on and found out the boat cost 500K not the 289 the trucker claimed. Nice but for the undersized rod rigging. Capt. Suzy 35s5 NY |

Good boats. American Made.
My preference would be more go and less show. "SUZY" wrote Brand spanking new from the factory 289K http://www.sabreyachts.com/sailing_y...ge_gallery.php Someone has a nice present to unwrap in the morning. Capt. Suzy 35s5 NY |

If you're using her as a daysailor then you have a good point, as a
livaboard it's nice to have plush comfort and low maintainance. The boat is IMO a glorified daysailor, one of the best.... but not really a good cruising boat. Capt. Suzy 35s5 NY |

Bart,
Who gives a **** about speed when your at Anchor, poaching a fresh caught Salmon with a pot of Coffee Perking. Fresh from a shower, with fleece slippers and clean "Sweats" on. ZERO MPH with just a gentle rock and your Dog watching every move you make, on a boat like that. Things are pretty right with this ol'world after all. http://community.webtv.net/tassail/ThomPage |

I agree Ol Thom, whats the hurry?
I picked up some pretty good ideals I'm going to put on my boat from the Saber. On my steps I've always used a stick on type of non-skid. The Saber has inlaid brass strips. Easy to do and looks great! Just router in groves and the brass stock is easy to find, will never mess with stick on again :0). Capt. Suzy 35s5 NY |
