No lights? No running lights that we could see. And when they were running next to us they had soft, red tone, low intensity instrument lighting. It was obvious to us that they did not want to be seen. The crew (two that we could see) were also blacked out completely. They were on us before we knew it. All six of us were looking west to the lights of South Beach (beautiful from the water at night) and they came up on our port side. It was a strange experience. This happened about ten years ago. Frank "Frank Boettcher" wrote computer, then said have a nice evening and went on. Couldn't see them when they were 30' away. |
