Several times, mostly when returning to the U.S. (Puget Sound) from
Canadian waters. Mostly in the 70s (but a coupla times more recently) and mostly, I suspect, 'cause I had long hair. They did the typical thorough-search-and-meaningful-questions routine, then went away when they didn't find any drugs or explosives. Frank Joe wrote: ....snip...
