Manly! Did you eat the liver?

Matter of fact.. No.... but I ate raw caribou kidney!

Gee that sounds lovely.
And you wonder why people turn down your dinner invitations!

... I also drank the blood
from the heart of a freshly killed Caribou as a ruse to get my Inhuit
friends to try... once they did..... I confessed that Kablunaks didn't
really do that and I was just getting them back for the raw kidney! :-)

Now *that* was funny.

Did you eat the eyeballs?
Excellent source of food revenge, I talked a buddy of mine
into eating raccoon eyeballs once. Then I made fun of him
for years, in fact in our circle his nickname is still 'Bandit.'

There are a lot of rednecks around who brag about having
sampled the meat of various weird & unlikely critters. It's
a strange thing to brag about.

What you don't want to eat is Polar Bear Liver... apparently the Vitamin E
content can be toxic to humans.

Believe me, if I meet a polar bear, the last thing I am
likely to do is dig out his liver. I just hope the polar
bear realizes exactly how toxic *I* am.

Can't see the problem meself. We used to catch tuna and they'd be on
the plate as sashimi, flesh still quivering with remnant nerve
impulses, while we cracked the beer & wasabi sauce.

I've swallowed live gold Fish, that were still swimming when
they 'came out'.

So, you tend to think of yourself as simply a large, mobile goldfish bowl?

Maybe if you tried some wasabi with the raw caribou kidneys you'd discover a
new delicacy worthy of opening a restaurant chain.
