![]() "Joe" wrote in message oups.com... Whats the difference if it's a white coat or not? Just a few weeks time. But culling the heard may be the best way to preserve and strengthen the species. And the hunters may be doing more to preserve and protect the seals than any others. I would rather see laws restricting the age to one yr + before the seals can be killed, but the russians women do not like scars on thier pelts, they prefer soft as a babies bottom furs. I would imagine Max might cut down on his big macs and steaks if he spent a day at a slaughter house. Not much difference in a club and a hydralic ram. The whole of North America could get by on three or four steers a year if everyone ate as little beef as I do. But there is a huge difference between a club and your hydraulic ram (not sure where those are used, but the slaughterhouses I've seen use guns with light explosive-charge bullets). The clubbed seals die a lingering, painful death, while the sacrificed steers die instantly. Max |
