Certainly if your "SUV" has a 12" clearance and you drive into 24" of
snow.... stopping will not be an issue..... progress and direction will come to an abrupt halt. If the same vehicle encounters a low traction area... a simple reduction of speed will allow all three factors to be retained and safely make directed progress And this is where you were baited and snared, Mooron. And then Scotty bit your tail and both of you were hauled aboard. Read my original statement again. Bottom line: A plowed road can be worse than 9 inches of snow, especially for an SUV. RB 35s5 NY |
