Why didn't you buy a nice boat? I'm not saying you had spend 50K + like
I did, but why didn't you buy a boat that is NOT the insider's joke of production boats? Even a Hunter would have been preferable. Even Beneteau had some crappy early boats you could have bought and they would have sailed better. Even O'Day had better built boats than your choice. Why not a Pearson 30 or C&C 29 or even a Bristol 27...boats that are legends...? Why did you buy something renowned to be so awful, from build quality to sailing performance, that it sells in the 2-4K range, less than 1/3rd of a Catalina 30!? Didn't you care to own something nice for once in your life. I'd like to know the thought process that goes into buying such a boat. Is it the same when you buy food, cars and electronics? Do you ever treat yourself to something nice? Maybe...just maybe...you should. RB 35s5 NY |
