Scotty, at this special time of the year I though it was appropriate to
remind you of how your whole life has amounted to a series of budget
busted failures. You've never owner a good boat, nice home or car...and
you never will. At your age you should be retired and sailing a nice
boat, but you struck out. Lacking imagination, ingenuity or talent,
your whole existence is neatly summed up by the junk you sail....a
Siedlemann 30.
Known to be one of the cheapest poorest quality boats, you bought it
anyway. People in this group, your own friends and others warned
you...and yet you bought it anyway. Well, why not? There's no upgrade
curve for the likes of you. You're the Willy Lohman of the sailing
world, a dime-a-dozen sailor who's best days never came, who finally
ended up in the scrap heap with all the rest. It's a world of "good
enough" for Scotty, a half man who never crawled clear of the barrel.
You own a vessel that's even cheaper than Neal's and everyone knows
it...even if they lack the balls to say it to you.

So merry Christmas, Scotty. You own an awful, ugly and terribly slow
boat. It's actually better looking than Sloco's boat...but barely.
Santa's bringing you more of the same...a lump of coal...and a cheap
one at that.
