When they arrived, the poor man found there had been a mistake. Half the garments were coats, 20 percent were children's sizes and 24 of the garments were both coats and in sizes for children. There were only 99 of the evening dresses he had ordered. How many had he ordered initially? I can solve the puzzle. Can you? Yes, of course I can Please solve the puzzle and post your answer. Go back and check the thread, Kunty. You replied to me first. You don't own anything except an undersized brain. That's not likely to change. You aren't much good at math either. Mys Terry owner of katy the kunt Half the shipment he received was coats. He received 99 evening gowns. Children wear evening gowns so that is an obguscation. He ordered 198 evening gowns, in various sizees, including children's. You are the idiot. And you also know nothing about clothing. I own you. Bzzzzt! Wrong. The correct answer is 250. There should have been 250 evening gowns. Half were coats which means there were 125 coats, or 50%. Twenty percent were children's sizes, which means 50, but of those, 24 were both coats and for children. Therefore you must subtract the 24 from the total obtained, as these are overlapping categories. You therefore have 50 percent, plus 20 percent, plus 99 - 24 = 100 percent. So now you are a proven liar as well as a proven idiot, because you kept insisting you knew the answer, when in fact you did not. Care to try another? Mys Terry owner of katy the kunt Ha...you replied once again...I not only own you, I control you...watch..I'm going to make you post again! Tap, Tap, Tippity Tap. What's your next dimwitted post going to be? "I'm rubber, you're glue"? You couldn't answer the puzzle correctly after all that bluster and posturing. MysTerry Master of katy the wretched kunt I see that I'm going to have to put you in the big, black box until you can behave yourself. Now get in there with Bobsprit or I'll have to get the shock collar. Will a shock collar help your math skills? I guess it might be worth a try. You have nothing to lose. Mys Terry master of katy the dimwit kunt I own you.... |
