I said New York...it is a state after all, and it is not someplace many would consider ideal for nekkid sailing....probably as suitable for nekkid sailing as Lake Michigan..which means NOT... You said "yech", not "brrrr", so I naturally assumed you meant NYC. Your reputation for mental acuity deficit preceeds you. You obviously have never been to Buffalo...I can assure you that it is "yech"....and I don't believe you have ever been accused of having any sort of mentality at all....nice to see that you have found your spell check, though... |

Can someone recommend a good newsgroup for learning and posting newbie questions, like "I have a fear of sailing with my husband" Thanks. Diane Clark Central New York Oneida Lake sailing Most of the folks here have been here for ages and have gone beyond the question point. Why do you have a fear of sailing with your husband? Is he unskilled? Oftentimes it is best if women learn to sail from someone other than their spouse/boyfriend/etc. Can you enroll in a Womanship class? Remember too that any problems you have in land life will be exacerbated within the small confines of a boat. |

If a woman has faith in her husband, then this question shouldn't arise. Can you enroll in a Womanship class? What on Earth is a "Womanship Class"? It sounds like a subsidised event where women learn how to get a divorce ... before they discover that life ain't so easy after all. I don't use spell check for usenet posting. A dress store owner ordered a shipment of evening gowns for his shop. When they arrived, the poor man found there had been a mistake. Half the garments were coats, 20 percent were children's sizes and 24 of the garments were both coats and in sizes for children. There were only 99 of the evening dresses he had ordered. How many had he ordered initially? I can solve the puzzle. Can you? |

If a woman has faith in her husband, then this question shouldn't arise. You can trust someone in a relationship but have no faith in their sailing abilities. I'm sure Suzanne trusts Bobbie as a husband but should she tryst him as a sailor? Can you enroll in a Womanship class? What on Earth is a "Womanship Class"? Womanship is an organization of women who offer sailing lessons to other women. It is a business.
