Are you implying a swap of some sort?
I've only heard of such goings on!

sheesh Scout....Let me explain this very carefully for you....most
women do better learning to sail from someone they are not
emotionally involved with...you know, the old control issue
thing...Does your wife want to swap you when you sail together?

Nonsense...... it's not a control issue in a proper relationship. It's a
security issue resulting from a sailor's lack of confidence in themselves.
I've seen wives screaming at their husbands during what was a routine tactic
or procedure as well as men yelling at their wives. It comes down to
trust... like all relationships.

The cure for this is Rum in generous quantities while underway...... :-)

However, one must be careful, particularly with spouses. From the log
of the SV "Never Better" Endeavor 38, Summer of '89, BVI, under the
category of "things we learned on this cruise".

"The rum ration, a longstanding tradition whereby the British Navy
controlled both the timing and the amount of libations by the crew, is
both practical and necessary. We discovered this after observing
Helen and Sheri, when left to their own devices, with regard to the
pain killers".

"A consensus decision concerning the itinerary is mathematically
impossible with eight people and two boats".

"Sidney has discovered the meaning of life and he is not telling
anyone"!

Right...she should pour enough rum down his gullet so he'll go below
and sleep it off so she can sail in peace...sounds right to me ; }

Well Bobsprit claims the heat is intolerable...... Suzanne insisted on the
AC so he would keep his clothes on. It's the only way other people won't
call "Whale Watch" to report a Beluga at the helm of sailing Javex Bottle.
