Found this newsgroup just a bit ago and have been reading. Can't get a
handle on it though. Seems as though it's not too serious about
sailing. Can someone recommend a good newsgroup for learning and
posting newbie questions, like "I have a fear of sailing with my husband"
Thanks.

What a totally GAY suggestion that was.....

This is your idea of a reply Ganz??? You think that was valuable input? Did
you just write that reply to watch yourself type?

Don't listen to this cream puff Gaynz, Diane.... even little girls yell
derogatory comments at him on a boat! He's a totally useless dipwad with
nothing of value to offer when it comes to sailing or boats.

Thats right Katy. We have a cabin on lake Oneida I think. Rob calls it
the thumb.

If you hold up your hand that's the short finger.

Good idea. Don't listen to me. Does that make you feel better Mooron?
I hope so, because I wouldn't want to contribute to your obvious
problems.

Right...she should pour enough rum down his gullet so he'll go below and
sleep it off so she can sail in peace...sounds right to me ; }

Either that or she could elect to sail naked......

Good point Mooron! I make it a point to never yell at a naked woman!

I admit, I find sailing with my wife and kids VERY stressful. However,
when I am by myself I relax so much and pay good attention to the boat
that I have a glorious time. I have no solution to this problem.

I sail with my family a lot.... it's relaxing and fun. I let the nieces and
nephews take time being "Captain".... I luv it when they do impressions of
me at the helm... my niece has my slurred commands down pat! :-)

In New York? yech.....

She is not sailing in NYC, Katy. She's sailing on Oneida Lake which is
considered by some to be the "Thumb" of the finger lakes. It's above
Syracuse.

Where did I say NYC? I said New York...it is a state after all, and
it is not someplace many would consider ideal for nekkid
sailing....probably as suitable for nekkid sailing as Lake
Michigan..which means NOT...
