Default Southern vs northern boats

Now does Bob Cranz really want to redo the unpleasantness of 1860-5?
We just about put a whompin on ya then with 1/4 yer population and 1/7
the industry. Things are a bit more even now. Besides, we dont b'leve
in marry'n any closer than cousins. Ya gotta 'member, all them folks
down in Palm Beach who couldnt figger out how to vote were all retired
yanks, not natives. Wern't enough brain cells among em to push a nail
thru a piece a paper. Up here in the panhandle where all the natives
live, we had no problems. Livin and owning a boat up where the water
turns solid dont sound to bright to me. I spent lotsa time in Ca and
those people actually think that something that looks worse'n a po'
cracker shack is worth $700,000. You gotta remember, Hillary is the
souths revenge.

Hey, David, Hillary is a Yankee. Born and raised in Ill. Notice she
didn't move back to AK.

What a load of bull Bart. Southern boats are used and maintained year
around while northern boats develope hull humps from sitting in a
cradle half the time. All that moisture trapped in the shrink wraps and
plastic hulls freezes and un freezes so many times they all develope
osmosis blisters.

If a hull develops "humps" from sitting in a cradle, the keel isn't being
properly supported.

The boat is being supported as well as it would be while sitting in a
cradle, the cradle pads are only there to keep the boat from tipping over.

The world turns East!

Hence, all the loose Nuts roll West
and end up in California.

Err...John, I think that's what he was saying. If the weight of the
boat is resting on the cradle pads instead of the keel, the boat isn't
properly supported, and will develop "hums" (indentations if viewed
from the outside) where the pads were bearing on the hull.

"while northern boats develope hull humps from sitting in a

What he said. I don't try to read between the lines, he didn't qualify the
statement.
