The Patriots have all but two of their key players back.
Their secondary is still missing Rodney Harrison--who
had two interceptions in the last Superbowl, but they have
greatly improved. Matt Light the Left Guard on offense
is out but had been ably replaced by a rookie. The Left
Guard protects Brady's blind side and is a critical position.

People are still underrating the Patriots. I feel they have a
great chance of winning the Superbowl again this year.

Consider these stats.

Patriots go for the throat immediately against the Jags and
purposefully ignore field goal opportunities, and score 4 TD's.

Jag have a reputation for sacks. Patriot Willie McGinest
sets a new playoff record for sacks in a game and now
holds the record of 16 playoff sacks.

If you want an idea of how the Patriots will do in their next
game, look at the other teams most significant strengths and
reverse those statistics. That is what Belichick does.

Look at what the Patriots did to Tampa Bay--shutting them
out a few weeks ago.

No one is able to run against the Patriots when they are
healthy. The Steelers are in my opinion the best running
offense in the league and got a total of 80 rushing yards
against the Patriots. The Colts only rushed 38 yards against
the Patriots while exploiting their injuries to the secondary.

Belichick purposefully lost the Miami game because he
knew that even though the Patriots can beat the Steelers,
the potential for injuries would be high, and wisely chose the
weaker Wild Card opponent. Now Carson Palmer is out for
ACL reconstruction surgery for this knee after only two plays
against the Steelers in the Wildcard round.

I feel the Patriots have a great chance to defeat the Broncos
and then either a beat up Colts on the road--that would be
sweet, or the Steelers at Foxboro in the AFC championship.

My big worry is the Patriots beat the Steelers in the AFC
championship while sustaining injuries that hinder their performance
against the Seahawks in the Superbowl.

Next weeks Carolina Chicago game should be interesting also.
I'll feel better if Chicago is knocked out of the playoffs.

Coming up--the best football of the year!

Yes, they looked good.
I hope the Steelers get another chance to beat up on the Pats.
We'll see. First Indy, gonna be tough.

So, you've noticed the Steeler strategy? Take out key players
early in the game.

The Steelers are tough. No doubt about it.
