every boat needs an extra 5 feet to carry fenders. Are you go to put an
elevator or wheelchair lift on your stern to pull you out of the water?
A rope with knots is all a real sailor needs to board any vessel. All
of RedCloud is a swim platform. You should see my pulpit diving
board..... or my spreader high dive platform.

What a huge waste of space.

Fenders should be stowed. Those aren't even the proper kind. I suppose if
you're only going to be out for a short while, it's better than on the deck,
but it looks like they're not out for an hour or two.

We have no idea of the specific application for those fenders or how
long they are out for, Jonathan. For a short local sail there's nothing
wrong with hanging a few fenders there. Perhaps they are an hour away
from their destination and just have them there ready to go.
