Swim Platforms...again
every boat needs an extra 5 feet to carry fenders. Are you go to put an
elevator or wheelchair lift on your stern to pull you out of the water? A rope with knots is all a real sailor needs to board any vessel. All of RedCloud is a swim platform. You should see my pulpit diving board..... or my spreader high dive platform. What a huge waste of space. Joe |

Fenders should be stowed. Those aren't even the proper kind. I suppose if

Fenders should be stowed. Those aren't even the proper kind.
We have no idea of the specific application for those fenders or how long they are out for, Jonathan. For a short local sail there's nothing wrong with hanging a few fenders there. Perhaps they are an hour away from their destination and just have them there ready to go. RB 35s5...the safest boat! NY |
