And here's why:
Half the people here either don't have boats at all, lie about having a boat and how they sail it and so on. How much sailing can you all do when you post here EVERY DAY? The summer before last I barely posted at all, while the rest of you continued like it was the dead of winter. I was out 3 days a week and most weekends. I know most of you are 9-5ers who don't go sailing much. And so...IT's all about the boat. And mine is unique...less than 120 35s5's in the whole country. No other Beneteau looks like it, except for the little sister 32s5 and no other boat except for the baby Swan has the same cabin cues. Her profile and aft section don't look like much else. And then she also sails great, has a custom interior (more so that Sloco's Express ever did) lots of space and so on. Nobody here has a better performing boat, a cleaner vessel or one that's as much fun to sail. This is why Jeff's panties are in a bunch. He really does want to kill himself! Poor Bob Crantz can do little else but wait for my next troll and the rest of you hope and dream that I won't have a blast aboard the 35s5 come spring. Bad news, losers...I will. Heh Heh Heh!!!!...... I _t-h-o-u-g-h-t_ you said you weren't
trolling today... Suzanne is at work, Thomas is sleeping, and there's nothing good on the tube. Don't feel like reading either. Pulled the holding tank on the boat...awful job in the snow. Some friends came by to see the boat...they brought hot chocolate! Had lunch at CIYC and got into a debate on cruising multihulls. Funny that the only sailor there who liked them previously owned a Marshall cat boat. I think Jeff said he owned a Nonsuch...a pure retiree boat for sure. I'm detecting a trend. Where's Jeff? Did he kill himself? RB 35s5 NY |

Let me clarify a couple of points for you, bs.
I owned Express 30 hull #59, Loco has #57. The interiors were different. I had a copy of the original order where the purchaser had drawn what he wanted in the interior. Do you think Beneteau would do that? The 30 that I mentioned was for sale has different interior from either #57 or #59. Also, there were less than 100 Express 30's built. According to your reasoning, that instantly makes it better than your bene. As for sailing, from April to November, sailing is my life. I race two nights a week on one-design dinghies and one night on the Bristol. I run the local sailing center, sailing and instructing every day. They actually pay me to do it. My wife and oldest son got jealous and now they work with me. Of course, they each only earn half of what I do, so the family income is all the way up to $20k/year. (can you tell it's not about the money?). Oh, and bs, none of my boats or my wife's project boat are 'put away for the winter'. We don't have to wait till spring to sail. But, maybe if you keep crying out you'll make it through to spring sooner. S. "Capt. I owned Express 30 hull #59, Loco has #57. The interiors were different. I had a copy of the original order where the purchaser had drawn what he wanted in the interior. Do you think Beneteau would do that? Yep, and they did. Pretty amazing given the fact that the interior was an award winning design on it's own. Still you could ask for two aft cabins, strip out the V for racing, get a version with a extra large single aft cabin and so on. A few models got dinettes and my boat has a custom teak interior, offered by Beneteau for a premium along with special fabrics and window shades. 2 keels were offered, but Beneteau made a few 5.5 fins for owners as well. There were many more options for a boat well up-market of the 35s5. Also take note...the 35s5 sells for close to have of her original cost. The Express 30 is only selling for a 3rd or even less! Why is that???? Also, there were less than 100 Express 30's built. According to your reasoning, that instantly makes it better than your bene. That would be a more valid point if the Express 30 was a nice looking boat. It's not. It looks like an unsweetended C&C, so much so that a few folks here mentioned how much alike the C&C and Express looked. Still, the Express is the boxy uglified version, though faster than her C&C cousins. I didn't know they only got to 100 hulls. That's quite a failure and explains why so few people even heard of them. I like the impressive performance of the Express, but can't get past the looks or cheap looking interior. When I considered one, every person I sent pics of the Express 30 to thought it was ugly. And guess what? A certain budy of Sloco's also thought it was ugly (when we were on happier terms) way back when. Given a choice between a J30 or Express 30....I'll actually pass on both. And I did. RB 35s5 NY |

custom teak interior, offered by Beneteau for a premium What's different about your interior? It's the same fake mahogany colored teak that every 35s5 has. along with special fabrics and window shades. Well Express offered way cool window shades as an option. I have them. 2 keels were offered Gee, Express did the same. Must be a great boat. There were many more options for a boat well up-market of the 35s5. I've never seen any boat over 30' that didn't have a list of options an arm length long. Means nothing. ,Also take note...the 35s5 sells for close to have of her original cost. The Express 30 is only selling for a 3rd or even less! Why is that???? Asshat, the Express is older. I'd be willing to bet the Beneteau is selling for a lesser percentage of it's cost new when it's 20 years old. Wanna bet? |

Asshat, the Express is older. I'd be willing to bet the Beneteau is
selling for a lesser percentage of it's cost new when it's 20 years old. Wanna bet? You got a bet. The 35s5 is selling for more now than it was 4 years ago. You know nothing about the market. Boats like the 35s5...with aft cabins, swim platforms and many "modern" features coupled with performance hold their value better than boats that are obviously dated like yours...which simply looks old. If my boat had a walk-thru transom it would hold it's value even better. Man, you are one dumb dude! What's different about your interior? It's the same fake mahogany colored teak that every 35s5 has. I guess you never saw pics of the alternate or standard interiors. Take a look on Yachtworld. I don't have the dark interior. Boobie, go back and do some research and find out why the 35s5 sold new
for an above average amount. It wasn't because of build quality, technology, speed, hull design, rig etc. It sold for a premium because Beneteau got the briliant idea to have some semi-famous gay guy design the interior and they had to pay him royalties. Check it out. At the time all the reviews poked fun at Beneteau. 35s5 always at the end of the pack. |

Take a look on Yachtworld. I don't have the dark interior. Well ****! That's why you got a deal. In fact you didn't even get a deal since it doesn't have the trademark interior. ROFLMAO!!! What a joke! LOL..................... Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, hee, hee. |
