I'm Bart, I've been around here the longest, except for
Jon. I'm not a curmudgeon, I'm a life long sailor, and
part-time sailing instructor. I live in SW Connecticut.

Glad to have you aboard Gaz.

What the heck did you do to your spinnaker? It looks
like you caught on that other boat.

Ericson 46 ECHO
Etchells #83 HOOT
and a couple of Sunfishes.

Most of the people here are cool with two exceptions.

what you say is worth listening to.

We did catch it on Double Deuce as we went by. They rounded up in our
lee and we couldn't get any higher.

I'm Mark E. Williams and I own a Banshee 13 and sail it in Kansas on
local lakes.
I'm researching boats to be a boat bum on later in my life. ) I'm
really favoring a PS Orion 27' at present. Mostly I lurk because my
boat doesn't have most of the stuff everyone talks about like a jib,
head, bilge and other interesting things I may have some day.

Mark, nice to meet you. I'm sure everyone here will tell you that the
best sailors learned on dinghys. Those that have only sailed keel boats
lack "feel". The Orion is a gorgeous boat (in my opinion). I would
have had one if there was one around at the right price. Any Pacific
Seacraft would be a good boat for a boat bum.

Mark,
A friend of mine was about to purchase a PS Orion
about a month ago. He was looking at one in
Rockhall, MD. He decided it wasn't bug enough as
he hoping some of his kids will come along with
him when he takes off. He's now looking at the PS
34 and 37.

Scotty,

Pleasure meeting you. My ship was in Baltimore once with the NATO
Squadron. I did a bicycle ride from Baltimore to Norfolk and we went
through pig farming country. Smithfield hosted us and served us some
mighty fine Smithfield ham. I still look for it.

Gaz

I don't even have to say that you've got a nice boat!
