Loco, I suggest you talk to a legal immigrant... not hard to find,
your
doctor may be one... and ask them about how the INS treats them.
Doctors
have it particularly tough because over the past 5 years the AMA has
made it all but impossible for a foreign doctor to get licensed. Like
we
have a surplus or something..

I didn't know the INS bothered anybody. I know a number of foreign
doctors and I have not once ever heard them mention the INS. Secondly
they all seem to be doing very well. Are the doctors your talking
about citizens? As far as foreign doctors having a tough time getting
licensed I've never heard of such a thing and my wife is in the medical
profession. Doug, are you aware of the scam foreign doctor wannabes
have been pulling for years? The U.S. pays their freight to come to
this country and go to medical school with the understanding when they
are done they will go back to their country and help their people. Big
problem ........... they don't go back. If your story is true maybe
things are catching up to them because there is a surplus. I do hear
stories all the time about qualified American kids who can't get into
medical school.
