Not that I'm bragging. Just giving you a small glimpse of reality.
Joe, around here your boat is a powerboat. It's too heavy and couldn't win a race against my boat in a million years. RB 35s5...faster than Joe's metal monster! NY |

Race you across the Atlantic in winter for pink slips. New York to
London. You would be out of the running just when RedCloud started streaching her legs. I would finish in comfort.... and you would be batter and bruised beyond reconition.. if your boat did not fall apart and somehow made it across. Joe |

Now Joe..... asking someone to an ocean race that has never left the
harbour.... is bad enough! .... but when the boat you challenge is designed to require reefing in 10 kts of wind.... well that's just plain low to taunt a pond skimming fin keeler that way! Well ****.... he said any race!.............Why bother with racing
around a cess pool like LIS? If your going to race on lakes use a 49er or something fun. Not a daysailor like Bob is paying to store and truck around the highways of the east coast. Joe |

Race you across the Atlantic in winter for pink slips. New York to
London. Joe, few or none of us are racing to London. And I haven't seen you off this group to even go for a daysail. We're coastal sailors and in most conditions my boat will toast yours upwind and "semi planing" a lot faster than 9 knots downwind. Let's be real. Do let us know when you leave for London though! RB 35s5...faster than Joe's cruiser for sure! NY |

Quit back paddleing bubbles. RedCloud if she raced your daysailor
across the Atlantic no way in a million years could you keep up. BTW I just got back from a week offshore. Sailed over 300 miles and spent 90% of the time over 50 miles offshore.Just MsTerry Skipper and I, you should try it some day. Might suprise you just how dark the sky is offshore void of lubbers lights you can see every star. If I had to buy the fish I now have in the freezer it would have cost me over 500 dollars. Now that the big shrimp are moving into the bay we will get the net out of storage and have some profitable night sails in the bays. Joe MSV RedCloud....More boat that bubbles could ever handle |
