Loco gets busted again...

Then why do you keep claiming Donal made silly posts about
semi-planing?

Typo, Jeff. It was loco who said he never heard the term and it didn't
exist.

Misspelling a word is a typo. Confusing the name 4 times, even after
it had been pointed out is a blunder. Much like misreading the Volvo
PR and insisting you're right after it has been pointed out is a
blunder. Much like claiming the bendy is "comfortable for cruising"
or "richly appointed" is a blunder.

Time to re-calibrate the meds, Bob.

"rngmstr" is a real person (and a nice guy). I've sailed with
him. You can take my word for it, Jeff.

And "rngmstr" may be a puppet of Donal, but it seems odd that

while
Donal almost always posts in the hours just before 8 pm EST,

rgnmstr
frequently posted towards midnight EST. Has Donal turned

become an
insomniac who posts as rngmstr at 0500z?

Scotty and I used to talk off-group,
No joke, we were
on civil terms before that.

Which begs the question, why are you such an asshole on this NG?
I talked to someone who's met you, they said you're a decent
fellow in person. That's hard to believe the way you act around
here.
My wife thinks you're psychotic. Is she right?

5 inch mattresses, 7 foot bunks, more than 6'4 headroom, air
conditioning & heat, spacious saloon, largest head on any boat under 40
feet, fridge, ice-maker, sit down nav station, well lit cabin with
natural light from overhead portlight design, hideaway retractable
curtain shades, tons of storage, floor runway lights in saloon and at
companionway, electric head, LCD screens in main cabin and aft cabin, 3
zone stereo system (Saloon, aft cabin and cockpit controls, 2 station
autopilot, Aft doors all curved, swim platform with hideaway ladder to
make Loco happy! (largest platform in a 35 footer), great cockpit,
clean decks.....
The interior of the 35s5 blows away just about anything in it's range.
We looked at everything from new Sabres to C&Cs to Beneteau Oceanus and
First boats produced now. Beamy cruisers may offer more volume but most
still fall short in areas like headroom and sleeping spaces.
The boat is richly appointed even compared to the new Tayana DS 48 I
sail.

I'll tell you what, Scotty. I'll agree to stop being an asshole in this
NG if 75% of the members here tell me it's no fun, doesn't generate
sailing discussion and so on. I doubt it will happen. Most like the
nonsense and I think you do as well. This is my "serious post" for the
day.
Oh, and using strick definitions...your wife may be right.

pssssst bob, you'll sound less lubbery if you call the ''floor''
a 'sole' and ''storage'' should be 'stowage'.

Just trying to help.

You sound more like a marketing brochure than an experienced cruiser.
You have one berth, that because its measured diagonally, is 7 feet
on one side. And you can't roll over without whacking the overhead.
Are you claiming that the V counts as a 7 footer? You brag about A/C
without considering that it has terrible ventilation. A tiny galley,
a small fridge behind the stove. No counter space at all, unless you
cover the sink. The head isn't small, but it doesn't have a shower.
My old 30 footer even had a separate shower. BTW, is there any
ventilation in the head?

But that's OK, Bob. Since you never actually cruise, you'll never
miss these things. It pretty obvious every time you brag about the
A/C that what you really wanted was a nice place at the dock to hang
out and watch the real sailors.

Psychotic is a rather imprecise term, don't you think?
